Cavo Tagoo Mykonos is a high-end vacation destination that’s perfect for people who want to enjoy peace of mind.

Cavo Tagoo is very special place for me, near and dear to my heart. Some of my most favorite and unforgettable memories have been at this hotel. I’m confident that I’m pretty well qualified to give a detailed guide and opinion on Cavo Tagoo since I’ve been at the hotel over 20 times now. Please follow along with me in this article so you can learn more about the atmosphere, vibes, rooms, and the location of the hotel. You will feel very welcomed and taken care of when first entering the hotel, as you will notice the effort and care they put into customers service and experience. Inside the main lobby they have various amazing displays of artwork from notable artists available for purchase, with each piece being as extravagant as the last. The main lobby then leads out to one of the hotel’s main attractions, the main pool. If your one of Cavo’s record breaking 2.1 million followers on Instagram, then you’ve probably seen what an amazing vibe the main pool brings about all day round, with my favorite of course
being sunset time. Right next to the main pool is Meraki, the restaurant operating within Cavo, that offers a delicious modern take on Greek cuisine. My favorites are some of the pool side dishes offered during the day, it makes the perfect pairing with a cocktail.

Room Selection

The rooms vary quite a lot at Cavo Tagoo. You have different variations of one-to-three-bedroom rooms with different pool setups, with most rooms offering great outdoor privacy. There are rooms dedicated for different occasions. There are beautiful honeymoon suites, larger villas for larger groups, and then there are insta-famous cave pool rooms. If you are with friends and want to enjoy the famous Mykonos nightlife, then choose one of the larger villas that the hotel offers, such as the two-bedroom
villa, with my favorite being 632 for a group of four.

The largest and most luxurious rooms offered at Cavo Tagoo are the Platinum Heart Villa Three Bedroom with Pool and Diamond Villa Three Bedroom. The Diamond Villa Three Bedroom is the hotel’s most expensive room. During the high season it costs 10.000€ per night, while the heart villa is around 8.000€. I was lucky enough to stay in both rooms and I would say that my favorite is the diamond. Even though the heart villa is a very photogenic room, the diamond villa is unique in its own way, with an indoor-outdoor layout that seamlessly takes you from the bed to the pool. It offers an indoor jacuzzi, a sauna and steam shower, as well as an outdoor jacuzzi. Trust me, if you are more than six people this villa is definitely the right choice.

Spa

I’ve visited the spa twice now and I’ve figured out that it’s a must do at the hotel. The layout and design of the spa was made to relax its visitors and the options of services are plentiful, such as full body spa, facials, body treatment, makeup, and waxing. Both times I went with a full body massage, and it was worth it every cent.

Cave Pool Suite

We can’t forget the most famous room at the hotel, or better said, one of the most famous room designs in the world right now, the cave pool suite. I remember when the hotel designed and built the cave rooms (six in total), it literally blew up on Instagram. It was constantly on the explore page, across travel pages and accounts, with also many influencers posting spectacular content in the cave rooms. Without a doubt these are the most unique and instagramable rooms that the hotel offers. I would recommend booking it early because it gets booked very fast. If you happen to get a booking, and want to get some amazing shots, order room service with the heart-shaped tray that floats in the pool.

Location

Cavo Tagoo Mykonos is located about 500 meters north of the Chora towards the New Port Tourlos. A free shuttle is available round the clock for hotel guests. In case you want to go and visit Mykonos town (under five-minute drive), the shuttle will be ready to take you there. When you want to come back to the hotel, make sure that you call the hotel lobby and they send the shuttle to pick you up at the meeting point, as I remember it near Faro Caffe.
